Thing #1:
I might, just *might* do my own video sessions of me painting while teaching others about painting. A lot in the style of Bob Ross but with a unique spin to it. I would need a new camera, and bigger brushes. Also a supply of canvases. The camera is what's setting me back here, I don't feel like spending a few hundred on one and expect it to last for more than 4 hours right now.
Money is being the constraint here, which leads to Thing #2...
How the hell do I sell these through the internet and make decent money out of them. I would want to mail people my artwork in wallpaper-printed form. I know very little when it comes to setting up a business over the internet and dealing with the possibility of getting smacked in the face with the crazy high traffic and demand. I constantly ask myself these: What's the easiest way to make a website. How much could the servers handle. What do I do for distribution. Is it better to do just this through a middleman instead of my own. I really have no idea what's the best course of action to do right now. Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Dear fellow Redditors...
if there's something that you believe absolutely NEEDS to be painted out - if it's a picture or otherwise (like I have to illustrate a post) - and if the thread is extremely recent, popular, or has some traction... please do not ever hesitate to message me about it here: http://www.reddit.com/user/Awesome_Oil_Paint/
I am more than up for it. A simple "HEY GO PAINT THIS PLEASE [insert link]" will suffice. Sometimes I'm not available due to my job, so I can be late to the party. But I'll definitely try to get them done.
I always have trouble finding things to paint on Reddit, the hardest being the usual sleeper hits that appear in the midd
I've been switching it up
with how I make my paintings. I've been in a real painty mood lately so I'm having more fun with it than I'd usually am. Especially now that I feel like I'm improving a lot and what I've been doing works.
At the beginning I was just drawing out the contours by eying it, then slap a single color of paint on it, and do a ton of improvisation and hope for a higher power than it will look good; all in under 2 hours. Well, that is being put an end (except the amount of time I put them). Things are going to be made a lot more surgically for now on and I can go it a lot faster now than I used to a month ago. Hint: The key is tracing.

Well that's that.
I finally got my hoodie design finished. Easy part's over. http://fav.me/d4u0ngk Please do check it out.
Got it done right before I have to relocate and move all of my stuff to my new home. woot.
About that 8-bit hoodie contest...
So I have the best idea ever, and I'm almost certainly possible that it would win instantly. I can't lie there.
But much later when I was working on it, I find that the scope of it is WAY too much to put on a hoodie. It'll end up looking like a pixelated mess and no one will know what it's supposed to be if they see it on a jacket. But I got some other cool 8-bit ideas going on in the meantime. Only matter is drawing one of them out. Still my original idea is vastly superior; it's just that it's literally too awesome to put on a jacket. It really sucks I can't use it because it kills the message behind it.
But I'm gonna get that done a

My whole website plan got slapped a big'ol hiatus. My academic adviser recently "reminded" me that I have to turn in an animation assessment in order to register for my next semester. Of course... it wouldn't have mattered if I had stayed on top of that. This last semester gave me tons of work--- there wouldn't have been enough time to work on my assessment at that time.
So now, on top of job hunting and designing a website, I gotta do this shit.
